What is the opportunity?
The Finance Conducting Officer will be responsible for the oversight of the domiciliary agent services, the administrative agent services, as well as the maintenance of a proper administrative and accounting internal organisation. As well as the specific valuation function for the undertaking for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) and alternative investment funds (AIF).
What will you do?
Fulfil the valuation function in accordance with the requirements of the AIFMD and the applicable provisions of the CSSF Circular 18/698.
Assess the level of service of the domiciliary agent of the UCITS and AIFs and provide the Board of Directors with the results of such assessment.
Liaise on a regular basis with the representatives of the central administrative agent with a view to obtain evidence of compliance with the related agreement.
On a quarterly basis, the Conducting Person shall assess the level of service of the administrative agent of the UCITS and AIFs and provide the Board of Directors with the results of such assessment.
Ensure that the Management Company respects all the requirements imposed by the Applicable Law in respect of the issue, publication and/or deliverance to the CSSF of all financial statements and reports in a timely manner.
Cooperate with the persons in charge of the accounting function, review on a regular basis the adequacy of the accounting policies and procedures of the Management Company.
Implement strategies and guiding principles regarding central administration and internal governance referred to in Chapter 15 of Circular 18/698 through written and detailed internal policies and procedures.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have:
Proven experience in a similar function or equivalent.
Strong analytical, communication and organization skills (both verbal and written).
Ability to adapt quickly.
Strong knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to funds and Luxembourg commercial companies.
Nice-to-have:
ACCA certification.
