Contract Specialist, Study Start-Up

Our clinical operations activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-basedContract Specialist, Study Start-Up to join our Clinical Operations team. This position plays a key role in the study start-up and clinical trial management processes at Medpace. The Contract Specialist will play a key role in advancing the start-up of our projects. Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between Sponsor, investigative sites and Medpace;
• Draft, review and finalise site contracts with investigative sites, ensuring compliance with negotiation parameters;
• Negotiate contracts and budgets with investigative sites;
• Assist with managing the shipping, storage, and maintenance of study contracts;
• Perform administrative tasks, and contribute input in the interest of process improvement where appropriate/applicable; and
• Build effective relationships with sites and internal teams to ensure negotiations occur within study timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study - ideally in Law, Finance, Business and/or Life Sciences;
• Experience of working in or interested to work in the Clinical Research industry;
• Familiarity with contract law principles, contract/budget review and negotiations within clinical research setting is highly desirable, however, previous experience in a related field will be considered;
• Highly organised and strong attention to detail;
• Excellent time management and communication skills; and
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
