Morgan Philips is working with a financial institution who are searching for an Office Manager to join them for 18 Months to cover a period of maternity. The role will begin in April and will pay up to £55,000pa although they will pay a little higher for the right candidate. The role will be based in their office in the City 1 to 2 days per week with the rest at home. This is an incredible company who offer a lot of flexibility and benefits to their employees.The role of Office Manager will provide business, operational and administrative support across an array of functions, policies and processes for the office. Duties include:
- Provide business and operational support by managing a broad range of projects that support the activities of the office.
- Manage a portfolio of both owned and rental properties across London including contracts, maintenance, liaising with landlords and paying the invoices associated with them.
- Managing staff relocation including visa, flights, removals, accommodation, schools, cars, finance, etc.
- Responsible for the Sponsorship Management system.
- Overseeing the payroll and bank accounts including reconciliation and sense checking entries.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive administrative support services.
- Coordinate arrangements for meetings, conferences and/or events.
- Contribute to research, data entry, drafting or analytical tasks as required.
The successful candidate will need to have ability to work autonomously, deploy innovative solutions, prioritise tasks and exercise discretion. You will have significant experience in managing a varied workload with the ability to plan and coordinate work from initiation and strong knowledge and extensive experience in booking/meeting/events management and related software systems. An understanding and application of HMRC rules and regulations is a necessity for this role as is an understanding and application of WHS regulations and security practices and procedures.
