Form of workAre you a Contracts Specialist with a passion for the oil and gas industry? Our client, an International Oil and Gas Operator, is seeking a talented individual to join their team in London. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support their contract requirements and make a significant impact on their operations.
Initial temp contract - converting to a permanent team member on satisfactory performance @ 6 months.
What you'll be doing:
* Generating and reviewing contracts for the purchase of crude and product cargoes
* Incorporating complex physical delivery clauses and legal terms
* Resolving trade discrepancies and negotiating contract terms with counterparts
* Administering all contract work from initiation to completion
* Reviewing and recommending amendments to General Terms and Conditions
* Collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth operations
* Supporting the Natural Gas Europe and LNG Commercial teams in executing new gas contracts
What you bring:
* Relevant Degree or Equivalent
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills
* A proactive and can-do attitude with exceptional attention to detail
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
* A customer-focused mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team
* Knowledge of supply and trading and/or supply chain (desired)
* Experience with trading systems such as Endur and/or RightAngle (desired)
* Familiarity with crude oil, product cargoes, natural gas, and/or LNG contracts (desired)
* Understanding of Incoterms and transfer of title and risk (desired)
