We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Contracts Managerto join our team. You will be based out of offices in Mildenhall, and you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical projects department.
Key Responsibilities
Providing technical and commercial input into bid submissions and quotations
To lead and manage safe execution of projects from start to finish.
Plan, structure and lead the planning of project programmes.
Procurement of Subcontractor, Materials, Plant, Labour
Experience in leading design from tender to construction.
Engage with Key Project Stakeholders
To be financially accountable for projects from inception ensuring profit margins are met and exceeded.
To have a good working understanding of NEC and JCT contracts
Managing change control and pricing variation
Ensure contract reviews and CVRs are interrogated, understood and are updated accurately.
Carry out monthly health and safety site inspections and project reports.
To support, coach and develop project engineers and managers.
Manage supply chain.
Skills / Experience
Educated to a suitable level within an electrical engineering discipline.
Comfortable dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Trackable experience within a similar role within the industry
SMSTS
The ability to lead a team, showing fantastic skills in motivating and developing a great team.
Experience working in an NEC3 contract environment (Desirable)
Suitable IT skills including MS Office, Projects etc.
A clear and professional communicator
