Role Overview: The Contracts Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Commercial Director, Client Leads, and Procurement team by overseeing the successful management of contracts. This position demands a confident, highly organised, and solution-driven individual with exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain a robust database using Pipedrive, including recording and delivering Management Agreements, Contract Variations, and Supplier Framework Agreements.
- Collaborate with the Procurement Team to enhance contractual documents and processes continually.
- Address queries and negotiate with contracting parties, working closely with Senior Colleagues, Property owners, and legal teams.
- Brief relevant departments on signed contracts, ensuring a clear understanding of responsibilities, SLAs, and commercial terms.
- Update and keep records across Pipedrive for all clients, working collaboratively with various teams to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Draft and review management contracts, contract variations, and novation agreements from existing templates.
- Monitor contract renewal dates, draft extensions, and assist with contract re-tenders.
- Liaise with legal representatives and solicitors, preparing documentation and maintaining up-to-date legal templates and policies.
- Undertake other tasks and duties as assigned by the Commercial Director.
Skills/Attributes:
- Experience in contract and CRM management is essential.
- Law qualifications are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Proactive, organised, efficient, and solution oriented.
- Analytical and able to manage a busy workload with conflicting priorities.
- Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to effectively deal with people at all levels.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve targets within timescales.
