This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Cost Accountant to join a leading industrial manufacturing company. The role involves a range of financial responsibilities, focusing on cost accounting within the Accounting & Finance department for a 12 month period.

Description

• Implement cost accounting systems and procedures
• Prepare and analyse cost reports
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure accurate product costing
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes
• Conduct variance analysis for costs and benchmarking
• Support and drive process improvement initiatives within the finance department
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards

Profile

A successful Cost Accountant should have:

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
