Role: Credit and Lending Services Officer 

Description of role and key responsibilities:

As a crucial part of the Credit and Lending Services Team, you will be responsible for providing time sensitive support to IBCI Legal Risk throughout the life of the loan. This is to enable IBCI to maintain a high level of client service, experience and professionalism which is a fundamental and core selling point for the wider high net worth lending business.

The role will specifically involve:

• supporting the deal team on the banking system Vision to ensure all the loan details are uploaded correctly as the deal progresses
• providing administrative support to the deal team to enable the conditions of the loan to be tracked and progressed, obtaining updates from external lawyers and relationship managers as required
• Providing support during drawdown of the loan and all matters to be addressed post drawdown, including setting up standing order and direct debits and client care letters
• Dealing with queries from relationship managers and external parties, update all parties on progress of the loan where required
• Maintaining Bank's security and loan records for accuracy and completeness to ensure the Bank's risk with regard to their portfolio of loans is at all times fully covered.
• Inputting and checking of amendments made on Vision loans
• Assisting other members of the Department as and when required.
• Consider and raise where changes could be made to ensure the process in CLS is as efficient as possible.

• Enjoys looking at ways to improve and streamline processes

• Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel)
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity on both an individual and corporate basis
• Have a good understanding of the regulatory environment including the regulations, rules and guidance and their implications relevant to the job and to follow all applicable internal compliance considerations and appropriate processes, policies and procedures.
