Credit Control Administrator
Full Time, Fixed Term for 3 to 6 months (Part time considered)
Key responsibilities:
- Running Credit Control, including processing and chasing payments and chasing debts.
- Updating client information on HubSpot.
- Recording all communication with clients.
- Managing outstanding sales balances, ensuring payment of invoices.
- Liaising internally with the sales team regarding payment of invoices.
- Sales ledger administration to ensure client records are up to date.
- Resolving customer queries promptly and effectively.
- Regular reporting on outstanding payments due.
- Supporting the finance officer with other administrative tasks
- To deputise for the Finance Officer in her absence.
- Suggesting improvements to, and documenting processes.
- To undertake other duties as necessary commensurate to a role of this nature and level.
Personal skills and attributes:
- Experience – at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or have a proven equivalent level of skill based on experience.
- Technical skills – you will have a working knowledge of SAGE Line 50 and customer relationship management systems (preferably HubSpot) and be confident with other online platforms.
- Computer literacy – you will be familiar with MS Office and a confident user of Excel.
- Organised – you will be organised and give those you are working with, both inside and outside the organisation, the confidence that you will complete your work in a timely fashion.
- Team-player – you will need to collaborate with others to ensure work is completed.
- Good work ethic – you will have the self-motivation to ensure you deliver high quality work to deadline and you will be able to act on your own initiative.
- Accurate – you will have a keen eye for detail and a pride in the quality of your own work.
The Credit Control Administrator will have experience in similar roles and able to prove an equivalent level of skill based on experience. You will be working directly for our Finance Officer and you will have a close working relationship with our Sales Data Manager (who is responsible for invoicing and sales administration).
