Our client is looking for a Credit Control Assistant to join their dynamic and diverse team. This role is working 30 hours per week and would suit someone who wants to work school hours.
The successful candidate will ensure customers settle their accounts as contracted and achieve 'weeks outstanding' target to maintain and reconcile the Sales Ledger.

Responsibilities as a Credit Control Assistant
- Full utilise the AS400 computer system, as appropriate
- Carry out duties as laid down in BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 / 14001 local working instructions and company operations manual which may be updated from time to time
- Liaise with and keep managers, supervisors, colleagues informed as necessary
- Keep accurate records where required
- Wear and use Personal Protective Equipment and handling aids, where supplied, at all times for all relevant tasks
- Carry out all tasks to comply with Company policy on health & safety
- Comply with Company policies and the terms & conditions of employment and follow Company procedures
- Keep work area clean, tidy, safe, and secure at all times
- Attend training courses as required
- Foster and maintain good working relations between Company, customers, and colleagues
- Maintain confidentiality of Company and customer business
Requirements
- Basic Accounts experience
- Good Customer Service skills
- Confident telephone skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Able to explain and work to business processes that apply to your work area.
- You meet the needs of both internal & external customers giving an excellent service at all times.
- Open to training & are willing to share your knowledge & skills with others
- Understand importance of you and your team working safely & looking out for risks & hazards
- Act with integrity fairness and honesty when working with others
- Passionate in taking pride in your job, know your own role & work to company standards & targets.
Job Title: Credit Control Assistant
Location: Portslade
Salary: £10.40/hour (£16,224 per annum)
30 hours per week (would suit school-hours)
