Day-to-day tasks include:
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices
- Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on outstanding payments
- Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues
- Prepare and send out monthly statements to customers
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable
The ideal candidate will be:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software and data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle difficult conversations with customers while maintaining professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
