Credit Control Assistant
Salary: £24k -£25k + benefit package
Location: Southwick
Hours: Mon-Thu 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-4pm

Do you want to work for a friendly and proactive organisation that offer great training and the opportunity to progress your career? If so, my client is looking for a Credit Control Assistant to join their small accounts/customer service team based in Southwick.
You will already have a background in finance administration and ideally have some exposure to Credit Control and be confident dealing with clients over the phone.
Responsibilities:
- Credit control - chasing outstanding debt via phone and email.
- Administering accounts via the SAGE accountancy system.
- Sending out late payment letters.
- Reconciliation to maintain the sales ledger.
- Cross checking bank accounts and general ledger for any anomalies.
- Finance administration sales ledger.
- Updating Dynamics 365 as required
- Dealing with any queries that come through from suppliers.
- Updating the CRM system accurately.
- Attend training courses when required.
The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:
- Great communication and organisation skills.
- Proven background in finance administration and Credit Control.
- Great customer service skills with the ability to build strong business relationships.
- Good IT skills inclusive of Word, Excel and ideally have used accountancy software Sage.
- Great attention to detail.
- Strong team player with the ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise effectively.
