We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller for a well-established forward-thinking client in the Swindon area, this is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for clear progression within a well-established multinational business.
Job title: Credit Controller
Salary: £24,000 to £26,000
Duration: Full Time Permanent Position
Location: Swindon
Main Responsibilities:
- Allocating cash to customer accounts daily
- Sending out statements monthly
- Monitoring and chasing outstanding customer debt
- Monitoring of team-shared mailbox
- Proactively communicating with clients/venues regarding their accounts and future payments
- Reporting cash income and the aged debtor's position to Financial Director on a weekly basis
- Liaising with Global Sourcing, Events Team and Key Account Managers to resolve client /venue queries
- Raising credit notes as necessary in line with approval policy
- Reporting on queries and credit notes on a weekly basis
- Ad-hoc duties as required within the team (e.g., letters to customers regarding warnings and fraud alerts)
- Filing and archiving of documents as necessary
- Maintaining customer contact information
- Identifying and implementing improvements in transactional processes to enhance efficiency
- Working with the utmost integrity and maintaining confidentially
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years Credit Control experience and a good level of Microsoft Excel skills. Also, the ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail.
