Our client is large media business based in the heart of Reading who is looking for a Credit Controller to join them on a 12 month FTC.
Job Description
- Overseeing the entire credit management process for a portfolio of customers from start to finish.
- Managing the allocation of received cash among customers efficiently.
- Actively resolving queries in a timely manner.
- Ensuring thorough documentation of all communication including phone calls and promises of payment.
- Following up on unfulfilled payment promises and escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborating closely with team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participating in sales meetings to address inquiries and identify potential credit risks.
- Cultivating strong relationships with key customers.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year experience in a Credit Control position
- Strong Excel experience (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUPs)
- Ability to work well in a team
Salary:
- Between £25,000 to £27,000 DOE
- 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
