Credit Controller

Reporting to: Credit Control Team Leader
This company is one of the UK and Ireland\'s leading, and most progressive, property consultancies. They help owners, investors and occupiers achieve their business goals with a suite of integrated services including sourcing, planning, funding, advising, managing, valuing and selling properties, across both the public and private sectors. They are now looking for a Finance Graduate or someone with junior experience to join their busy Credit Control team.
Responsibilities include:

• Collecting outstanding charges from tenants.

• Ensuring a high level of collection rates and meeting debtor targets set by the business.

• Management of own portfolios.

• Ensuring overdue items are chased via phone, email and letter within agreed timescales.

• Maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity.

• Responding promptly to all internal and external requests.

• Assisting with receipt processing during busy periods.

• Taking card payments over the phone.
• The building and maintenance of relationships for both internal and external clients.

• General ad hoc duties.

• Confident, enthusiastic and flexible.
• Attention to detail, high level of accuracy and numeracy.
• A self-starter with the ability to work under their own initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communications.
• You must be highly self-motivated, mature and proactive.
• Takes ownership of responsibilities and drives positive change.
• Team players with experience of delivering deadlines.
• The ability to work under pressure, efficiently and in a timely manner.

Desirable:

• Experience with Excel and Word, including intermediate excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables (desired but not essential)
• Credit Control experience
• Awareness of general accounting procedures, regulatory standards & compliance requirements.
