Credit Controller required for a permanent opportunity based in Redditch. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Credit Control, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices and adherence to credit terms
- Review and assess credit applications, establishing credit limits and terms for new and existing customers
- Conduct credit checks and analysis on customers to mitigate risk and prevent late payments or defaults
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and other channels to follow up on outstanding invoices, resolve payment discrepancies, and negotiate payment plans when necessary
- Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to address customer inquiries, disputes, and credit-related issues
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging analysis, and credit risk assessment for management review
Experience:
- Previous Credit Control experience (2 years Minimum)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
