Role: Credit Controller
Location: Wythenshawe – Hybrid – 2 office days per week

Role Purpose
We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Manchester team, working 2 days a week from our Manchester Head Office. We are looking for a resilient and energetic character with a customer focused approach.
Your main responsibilities will include, but not limited to;
- Collect payment from third party clients on an assigned ledger using collections tool GetPaid
- Manage the assigned debt ledger using varied techniques to improve the ageing profile and minimise the cost implications associated with bad debt provisions.
- Register invoice disputes in a timely fashion on the GetPaid collections tool.
- Host weekly conference calls with Operations and Administration teams regarding the resolution of disputed debts
- Manage all clients passed for legal collections action via the assigned firm of solicitors
- Report to Line Manager weekly regarding the current status of all large debtors along with ad-hoc reporting as required
- Operate in line with Bureau Veritas Core Values and Code of Ethics
Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience of Credit Control
- Self-motivated and able to take ownership of their own ledger
- Ability to establish good relationships and negotiate with clients in a firm and assertive manner.
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Intermediate level Excel
