Our client is a global leader in Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, who are looking for a Customer Account Manager based in the North West to join their team on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our client's NHS and commercial partners utilising a proactive approach to co- creation of business strategies that will optimise retention and acquisition opportunities for them and result in the development of deep meaningful long term commercial relationships.

Responsibilities
- Custodian of Customer satisfaction within assigned accounts
- Accountable for Customer retention, extension, and growth within assigned accounts
- Drive Customer Digital Adoption
- Deliver on the contractual demands of the contract
- Leverages all company and 3rd parties' resources to meet both the customer's and the company's strategic goals and drive future growth potential and ensure retention
- Enables engagement with C-suite and senior management
- Collaborating with other members of the CAM team through skill and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with the Sales teams with insights and customer knowledge sharing through Gold Sheet collaboration and use of Rexis
- Supporting the rest of the CAM team when areas become vacant and with holiday cover
- Active engagement with the Squad - working across the business and cross functional teams to support the customers' needs aligned with business objectives. Including but not limited to; finance and operations, customer services, technical services, procurement, commercial contracts, access, and innovation, as well as 3rd party partners
- Active support for other accounts a business needs demand
Experience / Skills
- Successful experience in a business function (sales, business/market development) in the healthcare industry
- Proven track record of adopting a customer centric Sales approach
- Evidence of track record managing multiple sales cycles and prioritising under pressure in a rapidly changing dynamic environment
- Experience in managing the fast-paced growth environment as well as mature established business segments (desirable)
- Evidence of building productive customer relationships leading to positive and sustainable outcomes
- Skilled in fostering a cross functional/matrix team environment with internal and external stakeholders
- Established in negotiating customer contracts
- Evidence of driving innovative business delivery model in healthcare (desirable)
- Tenacious and resilient with a demonstrated ability to acquire new business within complex and multi-layered customer organisations
- Solid go-to-market instincts to feed information back from the field to marketing, access and innovation and sales leadership
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to recognise trends and customer dynamics within the UK healthcare setting
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Clear understanding of the tender process
- Proficiency with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com
- Willing to learn and be challenged, self-driven and motivated, capable of working with autonomy and assessing when to involve management support
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills backed up by a solid analytical capability and excellent communication/presentation skills
- Team player in a matrix with the ability to influence team member activities without direct authority and across internal functions to achieve objectives
- Fluent in English language, written and oral
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Educated to a Degree-level or equivalent
- Full UK driving license
- Travel required, predominantly on territory (North West) but also nationally when required
Job Title: Customer Account Manager
Location: Primarily home based, travel to cover North West region
Salary: £175.00-£211.54 per day PAYE
