Customer Account Manager
£30,000 to £36,000 Basic salary plus Bonus

Our client a leading manufacturing company who is now seeking a Customer Account Manager to support in the development of new partners to ensure the continued expansion of the UK market
The requirement is for an office-based point of contact for existing customers developing long term relationships, and generating additional business. Previous experience and a track record of building and delivering relationships within a sales/account management environment is essential.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Explore cross selling opportunities where appropriate to help identify product offering and identifying the Customer’s additional requirements
- Develop where appropriate Customer Account Plans to strategically identify and review future opportunities and risks
- Ensure the Company’s growth targets for the customer portfolio are achieved on an annual basis
- Adopt the sales process methodology and develop strong value propositions that support the sales objectives
- Identify and gain support of key stakeholders in the customers organization
- Select and implement the best approach to win the growth opportunity and defeat competition
- Act as a lead point of contact for all matters specific to your customers
- Understand the needs and future requirements of customers through proactive account management.
- Clear communication of the progress of monthly KPIs to all relevant stakeholders including customer retention, additional sales and customer attraction
- Understand quality standards set by the company and agreed with each customer
- Retain ownership of the customer service level agreement
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes and experience.
- 2-3 Years B2B sales/Account Manager background.
- Adaptability in your communication with various industry accounts and contacts.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills and work within a small, fast paced company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Proficient in Office 365/Excel.
- Confident communicator both internally with the team and externally with your managed accounts.
- Proactive, organized, great time and work-load management to prioritize tasks and actions.
- Experience with working within the software industry desirable but not essential.
