Customer Service Administrator
Based in Edinburgh
£13 per hour + holiday pay
Reed Business Support are pleased to be working with a well-regarded Edinburgh charity who are looking to recruit a Customer Service Administrator on a 3 month temporary basis with the potential to become permanent. Working within the Housing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Administrative and Customer Service support to tenants. You'll be supported by a welcoming, knowledgeable team and will be working in a clean, modern office.
- 37 hours per week (9am - 5pm | Monday - Friday)
- Immediate start
- Hybrid working (2 days in office / 3 days from home)
Key responsibilities:
- Acting as a first point of contact for all customer and employee housing queries
- Providing effective administration of allocations policy
- Assessing and processing housing applications
- Processing tenancy changes on housing IT system
- Handling first stage tenancy management issues and passing to Housing Officer if there is further escalation
- Promoting tenant participation in housing management functions
- Resolving customer housing issues
- Helping to update and prepare monthly statistics
- Scanning, filing, and archiving documents
- Various ad hoc admin duties
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working in an Administration or Customer Service position
- Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT Skills and ability to pick up new systems
Desirable:
- Previous experience working in the housing sector and / or dealing with tenants issues
- Experience working on Housing IT software
