Simple Recruitment are looking for a Customer Service Administrator for our client based in the Barnstaple area to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.
What you will be doing:
- Receiving of telephone enquiries from the public, customers and officers in relation to services provided by the Works Unit.
- Provide quotes for new business enquiries, discussing customer accounts and trying to promote the Trade Waste service where appropriate.
- Support trade waste administration, including logging of all customer interactions, processing of new and cancelled contracts, organising delivery /removal of trade containers and process timely invoices.
- Track vehicles to swiftly assist with ad-hoc enquiries and missed collections.
- To provide general admin assistance to the Works Unit, covering for absent staff and using various IT systems as directed by the Business Manager.
Requirements:
- Experience of dealing with customers and staff.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good telephone manner and Customer Service skills.
- Competent use of the Microsoft office programs to include Excel and database use.
- To provide general admin assistance to the Works Unit, covering for absent staff and using various IT systems as directed by the Business Manager.
- Experience of working in a commercial sales or account management environment is desirable.

Due to the location of the site, you will need to drive, there is free parking on site.
Salary:
£12.21 per hour.
Hours:
9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
