Location: Bournemouth

Salary: £24,000k basic, rising after probationary period

Type: Hybrid

The Role:

As a Customer Service Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in handling operational calls, building customer relationships, processing orders, and providing waste management advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer operational telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, actively managing accounts when necessary.
  • Process customer orders efficiently and collaborate with suppliers to ensure smooth transactions.

  • Address telephone and email queries promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Provide guidance to customers on both commercial and domestic waste management solutions.

  • Source alternative ad-hoc services to meet customer needs.

  • Liaise with accounts receivables regarding customer credit card payments.

  • Produce accurate and timely customer reports.

  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the overall functioning of the Customer Service department.

  • Undertake ad-hoc duties to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.

  • Support other team members when required.

  • Assist colleagues in different departments as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an up-to-date quote conversion spreadsheet.

  • Administer contractor pricing, purchase orders, and new sites onto the system.
  • Administer new suppliers and customers onto the system

  • Obtain rates for smaller upcoming projects and containers.
  • Record pertinent information for sites, clients, and the supply chain.

  • Advise relevant departments on identified issues.
  • Support new business initiatives through supplier sourcing where applicable.
