Job Title: Customer Service Advisor
Location: Barnstaple
Salary Circa: £20,000-£22,000 with potential to increase following training programme
Industry : Insurance - No insurance experience needed
Purpose
- The role will require someone who has good judgement, is analytical, pays great attention to detail, is flexible, self-motivated, driven & who delivers excellent Customer Service.
- You will complete our clients' licenses to sell/advise insurance - minimum 3 months to level 2 (22-24k) then minimum another 3 months to level 3 (24.5k-28k).
- In the office 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and provide potential solutions to the company and reduce costs.
- Deliver excellent Customer Service whilst meeting customer requirements for Existing Business and Renewals.
- Understand the processes and procedures required to provide quotations & put forward suitable products to meet the client's demands and needs.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of all customer interactions.
- Identify complaints and refer to the necessary complaint handler.
- Dealing with queries by email, telephone and in person ensuring that all SLAs are adhered to.
- Ensure that telephone calls are answered & dealt with promptly & efficiently.

Essentials
- Financial services experience or a graduate.
