Customer Service Executive

Due to the continued and exciting growth of one of our clients we are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Executive for their growing team. Based in the York Ring Road.

You will be responsible for servicing inbound phone calls and engaging with prospective and existing customers by explaining the full benefits of the product range and services to grow the business.

We are looking for candidates who have a passion for Customer Service that also have the ability to upsell additional company products and retain existing customers.

Salary between £21-23,000 plus monthly individual and team commission. Working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday 9-5pm with the occasional Saturday where time is paid back in lieu.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• To provide first class Customer Service to prospective and existing customers.
• To work proactively in order to maximise brand reputation and sales revenue through effective conversations.
• Maximise up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Effectively handle inbound customer enquiries and pro-actively respond and provide solutions.
• Be competent in handling difficult conversations while working in line with the Company Complaints procedure, recording and escalating feedback where necessary.
• Good communication skills are essential, you will have a great understanding of how to apply personality, empathy and professionalism into every call.
• Be confident and competent in working in a target driven environment, demonstrating ambition to achieve your targets and resilience where needed.

Experience required:

• Confident working with multiple contact types, such as telephone, social media, webchat and email.
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Experience of phone work including dialling out
• Upselling experience desirable
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Able to multi-task.
• Drive to achieve KPI’s and SLA’s.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
