The Situation
Ford & Stanley are currently partnered with the UK’s leading part supplier to the Railway industry, with expertise across Infrastructure, Traction and Rolling Stock. The Customer Support team have recently undergone a restructure to allow a clear progression route for all employees in the team, this coupled with two promotions have created openings in the UK Customer Support team. The team are the face of the client and deal with all inbound queries from their customers, which range from a Rail enthusiast to the largest Transport operators in the UK, the likes of Northern Trains and South-eastern rail for example. Currently the senior stakeholders in the team are having to reduce focus on the strategic elements of their roles and take on some of the day-to-day tasks associated with this role.

As the face of business, you will expertly manage orders, provide exceptional customer service, and collaborate effortlessly with your colleagues. The Customer support team are a dynamic team that share their successes and collectively have a relentless work ethic, attacking each day with a positive mindset. The client likes to develop and progress both within, and outside of the Customer Support team. Consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and a desire to learn/develop will see you launch your career from CSM to Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Strategic Account Manager and Business Development Manager. Outside of the Customer Support team there is consistent opportunity to progress in Engineering, Procurement, Finance, IT, Forecasting and many more.
