This role will work within the Data Lab, which is a new organisation being built at Warwick. The focus will be on innovation, digitisation and delivering something fresh for our users. Collaborating with other data professionals, we will be building effective new data products to help deliver the best possible student and research experience.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to develop core components of an effective data analytics and reporting architecture.
We are updating our data infrastructure to ensure it's capable of meeting a wide range of reporting/analytics needs and that all solutions are scalable and robust enough for a regulated environment.
About You:
You will be enthusiastic about modern Data Engineering, with experience in Data Vaults and Kimble style dimensional schemas.
You will have experience using tools like Snowflake, DBT and Soda to build reliable data pipelines and high-quality data sets. Some knowledge of Python is also an advantage.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
