Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Data Officer for initial 7 month contracts with potential to extend on a rate of £14.25/hour PAYE. The working hours are 37 hours per week. These roles will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office.Responsibilities:- Updates and amendments to vendor records on the organisation's Oracle finance system.- Responding to supplier amendment enquiries either by e-mail or telephone communications.- Maintain the master supplier contact list (MS Excel) which forms the basis of weekly status reports.- Ad-hoc duties as directed by the Purchase to Pay (PTP) Workstream Lead.Essential Skills:- Very Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Outlook.- Ability to follow instructions/processes.- Attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.- Strong administration skills - ability to prioritise competing tasks and workloads.Desirable Skills:- Excellent communication skills, able to provide information concisely and clearly.- MS Excel intermediary skills- Familiarity with creating mail merge email communications.If you would like to hear more about these opportunities please get in touch.
