We're looking for a Decarbonisation Engagement Officerto join our team, following our recent successful Optimised Retrofit grant funding award. This is a brand-new role, offered on a permanent basis, working 20 hours per week.
We are embracing hybrid working. If you are successful you can work from home some of the time if you wish, but you will need to regularly attend our sites for collaborative working and to forge great relationships with others.
What you'll do
You’ll lead on all aspects of engagement for decarbonisation initiatives throughout the organisation. You’ll plan and facilitate focus groups, both in-person and virtually, to ensure customers take part and are fully engaged. You’ll promote the organisation’s decarbonisation strategy both internally within other teams and externally, creating a positive image for Hafod.
You’ll monitor and evaluate decarbonisation projects and customer involvement, maintaining records and producing reports as necessary.

What you'll need
To be successful in this role you'll have a real interest in climate change and net zero, with the confidence to speak about it from customers to senior management. You’ll have experience of working within a housing setting and in the community. You’ll be proficient in using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel and Word and also using social media.
You’ll be an enthusiastic and customer-focused person with excellent communication skills. You'll have the ability to relay complex information in a clear and appropriate manner to all stakeholders. You’ll work well using your own initiative and within a team.
A valid UK driving licence and the use of a vehicle is essential for this role.
