Our client is actively searching for a talented Delivery Manager to join their team in a remote working capacity for an initial 6-month contract. The Delivery Manager will play a pivotal role within the team, serving as an advocate for positive change alongside the Head of Digital and Senior Delivery Manager. This individual will support the Senior Delivery Manager and contribute to Business As Usual (BAU) tasks. In addition, they will take the lead in agile ceremonies, facilitate workshops, and more. Given the current absence of a defined process within the team, they need someone to help shape and establish it. The ideal candidate should be ready to embrace this challenge with a positive mindset and a can-do attitude. Key Responsibilities: Help Cultivate and sustain teams, fostering motivation, collaboration, and effective teamwork. Recognise and address obstacles hindering team progress, providing support for overcoming challenges. Direct the team's attention towards key priorities essential for delivering products and services. Foster an environment of continuous improvement within the delivery team, encouraging ongoing enhancements. Provide coaching and mentorship to both team members and others, guiding the application of suitable Agile and Lean tools and techniques. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, in government-related projects. In-depth knowledge and adherence to GDS standards and experience using JIRA. Demonstrated ability to working in agile environments. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent people skills over technical ability. Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality product/teams.
