Delivery Manager - CRM

Luton/Hybrid


The Delivery Manager is responsible for the technical delivery of change for applications and platforms within the easyJet IT estate. The role works closely with business teams, architects, business analysts and portfolio to deliver IT Change that meets the needs of projects and programmes within easyJet’s enterprise portfolio. This also includes overseeing product teams that manage the continuous improvement of existing products and services and working with third party suppliers to manage and coordinate external delivery.


Job Purpose


The Customer Relationship Management Technology team is responsible for the applications and third-party relationships that support easyJet’s CRM side of the business. You will be the actively involved in small to complex changes and supplier assurance, covering business as usual for Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM), the Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) for easyJet customers.


The team manage the overall scope of easyJet’s IT delivery for CRM, including technology and lifecycle management, service & change management, and support. This is a newly formed team so we are looking for individuals who can bring a high motivated work ethic and lead from the front as the technology portfolio evolves.


What you’ll need to do the role


· Manage delivery of a portfolio of new and changed systems for CRM, to agreed time, budget, and quality, whilst coordinating with internal IT teams, business teams and external suppliers

· Oversee delivery from existing product teams and external third-party suppliers, holding the teams to account for delivery against plan

· Oversee BAU delivery for support, maintenance and continuous improvement of existing products and services

· Support the CRM Technology team in managing the overall IT roadmap for CRM, including liaising with third-party suppliers and their associated roadmaps

· Create and manage delivery plans to track delivery progress, including risks and dependencies, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress

· Production and maintenance of validated budgets and regular liaison with Finance to review budget status.

· Primary point of contact for Service Management supporting the activities of service design and service transition

· Ensure all risks and issues are captured, tracked and appropriate actions taken

· Ensure that all relevant design, quality, and security governance processes are followed, in line with the direction set out IT Strategy and Architecture


Skills & Experience


· Proven track record of delivering IT projects to time, cost, and quality in a multi-channel landscape, working with internal and external teams including Development, Test and Service

· Proven end-to-end Software/System Programme Delivery experience

· Solid experience of successfully working with Architecture, Development, Test, and Infrastructure teams to deliver Enterprise scale technical change

· In depth understanding of software development principles e.g., different life cycle models, structured methodologies, coding standards, their importance, and the benefits they bring

· Proven experience of management in an agile IT development environment working with architecture, development and testing teams and service support

· Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and third-party suppliers

· Ability to understand and challenge the architecture and implementation when needed

· Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and challenges to non-technical audiences

· Good knowledge and understanding of total cost of ownership of IT assets and functions and the ability to present and manage trade-offs


Desirable

· Prior experience with CIAM (ForgeRock), CDP (mParticle), Braze & CEP software.
