We are partnering with a well-known and recognised Food business, which has been supplying to the UK's major supermarket's for over 45 years. 

As the Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the forecasting, material ordering, and planning of the company's product demand to ensure that inventory levels meet customer needs without resulting in excess or shortage.

Demand Planning Manager Responsibilities:

• Forecasting: working with the sales and operations teams in managing the demand forecasting across a broad range of SKU's, using data to manage customers demand and ensuring inventory levels are optimised.
• Inventory Management: Ensuring that the right amount of inventory is available to meet demand without overstocking or understocking.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Working closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to ensure that production and supply chain processes align with demand forecasts.
• Optimisation: Continuously seeking ways to improve the accuracy of demand forecasts and the efficiency of inventory management.

What You'll Need:

• Experience in demand and inventory management.
• Experience of working in the food industry or similar FMCG.
• Strong ability to analyse and interpret data.
• Excellent organisational and planning experience.

Our client is based in Surrey and will require 4 days in the office a week, Fridays WFH.
