As the Deputy Manager of our Childcare Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management and operations of our settings. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help ensure the smooth running of our facilities while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborating with the Registered Manager to ensure Ofsted compliance and adherence to regulatory standards.
* Assisting in the recruitment, training, and management of childcare staff to deliver exceptional care and education.
* Supporting the implementation of quality assurance processes to enhance the overall quality of Childcare Services.
* Assisting in safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care.
* Engaging with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster positive relationships and address any concerns.
* Contributing to budget management and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.
* Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for continuous enhancement.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation per regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
* Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
* Previous experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting.
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for delivering high-quality Childcare Services and promoting child development.
