Key Responsibilities
As the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Home Care Manager in the overall operation of our services. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the service provided meets the required regulatory standards and company policies
- Maintaining effective communication with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Holding and documenting team meetings
- Dealing with payroll and invoice queries
- Ensuring agreed ways of working and best practice is followed through regular communication and leadership of the care team
- Providing hands-on care and support as needed, serving as a role model
- Training new office staff
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Prior experience within the home care or healthcare sector is essential
- Previous experience in a leadership role is desirable
- NVQ Level 4 or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential
