Job Title: Desktop Support

Location: Hounslow, Onsite.

Length: 12 months

Start Date: ASAP

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide daily technical support for desktop systems.
• Set up desktop computers, peripherals, and network connections.
• Install, test, and train users on desktop software applications.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Adhere to corporate policies and directives.
• Extend support for computer systems and hardware.
• Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve issues.
• Manage and update support service requests.
• Coordinate hardware movement and maintain asset inventory.
• Organise IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve onsite support tickets.
• Schedule and manage device installations with end-users.
• Handle end-user service requests and device logistics.
• Support various end-user devices and installations.
• Manage software installations and perform break-fix incidents.
• Support meeting and conference room devices, printers, and other peripherals.
• Perform remote troubleshooting and document resolutions.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to the internal team.
• Manage new starter setups and equipment repossession.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure system availability.
• Provide user training and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with partners on infrastructure support and projects.

Soft Skills:

• Strong customer service focus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Comfortable working autonomously or as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to provide VIP support and appreciate the difference between standard users and heightened IT Support.

Skills/Experience:

• 2 to 3 years relevant experience in IT end-user support
