Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Development Accountant on a Permanent basis at our Westminster Bridge Road offices.
A bit about the role:
As a Development Accountant, you will prepare the management reports of Development’s finance activities, including inputting development activities into regulatory returns. A key part of this is to review and challenging programme cashflows and drive better forecasting. This role will support the Development Finance Manager (Reporting) in maintaining and keeping up to date the development side of the Long-Term Financial Plan (“LTFP”) and driving the budget and forecast processes forward.
. Some of the key results for the role include:
- To prepare accurate and timely management reports for Capital management Group, Development committee, Finance and Treasury committee on a monthly basis.
- To liaise closely with Development programme team and other Development Finance around monthly timelines
- To update the development side of the LTFP on a regular basis and to scenario testing it
- Deliver accurate high quality accounting records for Peabody’s accounts (including all subsidiaries) and other external legal reporting requirements.
- Provide support for ad hoc queries or signposting stakeholders to relevant teams across finance.
This role will require a minimum of 1 - 2 days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office
