SalaryDFG Caseworker - West Midlands
One of our clients based in the West Midlands are currently recruiting for a Disabled Facilities Grant Caseworker to join their existing Home Improvements Team.
Case Workers will be expected to:
- Conduct initial triage call to DFG applicants.
- Capable of running financial suitability tests to ensure applicants are eligible for the assistance from the local authority, this can be referred to as Means Testing.
- An expectation for candidates to assist clients with grant paperwork.
- Liaise with Occupational Therapists.
The role will be a 60/40 split, with X3 days visiting clients & X2 days remote for your admin duties.
Successful candidates will need an enhanced DBS.
This is another great opportunity to join an enthusiastic adaptations team who are looking to benefit the local community.
Additional Details:
- Contract: 6 months.
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate: £18-£22p/h.
- Hours: 37 per week
