A unique learning role is now available with a global, Financial Services/Technology business that is based in the City of London – Digital Learning Lead.
This one of a kind role will focus on the creation and implementation of a Digital Learning solutions that are primarily for the company’s external clients to use. This role will work directly with the business itself in order to create this via extensive learning needs analysis.
The role will act as the product owner for all external education and learning experiences for clients.
We are looking for experienced Digital Learning specialists/leads who ideally are from a Financial Services background. This individual will need to have a proven track record of working closely with the business and excellent stakeholder management skills. Full 360 degree learning experience especially TNA will be critical.

Responsibilities:
- Acting as a lead for external education and learning experience for all clients. This includes leading the implementation of a new Digital Learning platform for clients, creating and supporting SME’s development of learning content and partnering with senior business stakeholders.
- Designing and agreeing the overall objectives and measurement strategy for learning solutions in partnership with the Learning team and product business heads.
- Collaborating with Product Heads, Product Subject Matter Experts, HR Partners and Learning and Skills Team to identify and develop the knowledge curriculum and the related Learning for consumption of external clients and internal learners.
- Updating any existing content and new learning resources currently available and conducting extensive Learning Need Analyses to propose what needs to be designed, developed and delivered using appropriate self-learning mechanisms for the organization.
- Project managing the design of the client facing Knowledge curriculum for all global clients and employees.
- Ensuring clients and employees have consistent and sustainable learning solutions, agreeing the delivery plan and schedule with the Head of Learning and Skills.
- Collaborating with the Learning and Skills team to provide global feedback and evaluation on the Product Knowledge components and implement enhancements.
- Managing any agreed third-party vendor and consulting relationships as needed in partnership with the Learning and Skills Team.
- Designing and leading the overall client learning communication strategy and plan to effectively communicate with all stakeholders and all levels in the firm, including; the Chief HR Officer, Head of Talent, HR Leadership Team, Learning and Skills Team, business stakeholders, clients and employees as learners and managers of learners.
Requirements:
- Experienced in both Digital Learning and learning transformation
- Ability to adapt from program management to execution and learning design
- Skills in leading learning in a regulatory environment desirable.
- Understanding and experience of working in the Financial Services Products and solutions Learning Sector
- Knowledge of learning principles and learning modalities and the ability to use this knowledge to develop engaging and effective self-paced Digital Learning programs and materials. Experienced with various L&D solution provision including instructional design, eLearning (including virtual), knowledge testing, action learning, project-based learning, video-learning, gamification etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the firm including with senior executives.
- Strong ability to consult with others, working in a matrixed environment by listening effectively, asking clarifying questions and suggesting potential solutions
- Tech savvy and versatile in using eLearning authoring software or similar technical ability to design eLearning packages
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Advanced in PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Excellent Learning Quality Assurance and Governance Skills
