Joining The AA as a Digital Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering reporting and analysis of TheAA.com from a marketing perspective. We are looking for someone who can join the team on an initial 6 month contract to help us understand the ‘why’ and identify opportunities for further revenue and volume growth through our channels and website.
This role will be part of a PoC (proof of concept) project team, working on content performance analysis and providing recommendations off the back of the data. You will closely collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing, Head of SEO, Head of Digital Data & Analytics and the PoC Project Lead.
Please note this role is an initial 6 month fixed term contract position.
What will I be doing?
- Ensure accurate capture and processing of digital data from a marketing perspective (Google Analytics – UA and GA4)
- Create reporting dashboards and measurement approach to feed into PoC project governance model
- Convert complex data findings into understandable text, tables, graphs and/or data visualization
- Ensure data is readily available to key stakeholders through automated reports and dashboards
- Deliver analysis of TheAA.com and Digital Marketing channels to optimise performance, with a particular focus on organic
- Consistently check all reporting and analysis for accuracy and work proactively with colleagues to ensure they are making accurate data-led decisions
- Propose and deliver improvements in working with internal stakeholders
- Work closely with the group marketing department, the data and analytics department and the PoC project team to ensure the PoC is a success from an analytics perspective
- Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analysing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports
What do I need?
Essential:
- Strong experience delivering analysis of marketing data and identifying opportunities for key business decisions
- Key knowledge and skills utilising Google Analytics (ideally, GA4)
- Experience of working with a number of business stakeholders across multiple (e.g. Product, Acquisition)
- The ability to work across multiple tasks to deadline concurrently
- Experience of creating automated reporting / dashboards
- Quick learner with the passion to get ‘stuck in’ to project work from day one
