We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to help support us across our client base. Our clients’ industries range from photography and lifestyle, to b2b industries like recruitment and compliance.
We do a lot of different things for clients, and often start at the beginning with strategy. We love getting under the skin of their target audience to make sure our content truly resonates with them and gets the best results. And from there, we design marketing strategies and plans that meet their business goals.
Here’s an overview of what we’re looking for:
Content creation and management
A few of our clients are content MACHINES! They’re all over LinkedIn, creating online courses, running podcasts, sending newsletters… we’d love it if you took ownership of their content calendars and helped keep the content creation process streamlined and easy.
You should love trying out different social trends, adopting different writing styles and coming up with creative ways to improve engagement on clients’ content. And be super organised so that you can stay on top of their plans! Knowledge of a website CMS such as WordPress would be useful too, so that you can upload and manage website content.
Email marketing
We’d love for you to have email marketing experience, whether that’s HubSpot or MailChimp or something else. You’d be doing lots of email marketing for clients – creating the emails, helping design workflows with us, and coming up with fresh ways to increase open rates and CTRs.
Client relationships
This is a client-facing role, so you should be confident speaking to clients, getting to know them and building relationships – that means chatting on calls, learning what makes them tick and remembering their kids’ names!
We’re looking for someone to really care about our clients – in how we make them feel, how we make their lives easier and how we achieve results for them. Our clients are all really lovely to work with, and we want them to have the best experience with us.
Project management
Remember what we said about our clients being content machines? We have to be sh*t hot on organisation and project management so that everything goes out on time, and on brief. We use Monday as the software to store all our team tasks, and you’ll need to make sure all client content tasks are captured in there.
Ideally, you will be an organised person who is happy taking meeting notes and following up with clear instructions to clients, as well as inputting new work into Monday as a result of client meetings.
At RedSprout, we’re a small team internally but we work with a network of freelancers for a lot of stuff, such as video marketing campaigns, UX work, website design and so on. And we keep our best skills in house: strategy and content creation. So although we’re a small team internally, you’ll be working with various different people on a regular basis that you can get to know and learn from.
We aim to work together once a week, whether that’s in the office or at a coffee shop. We work well remotely because there’s lots of trust within our team, and our project management processes mean that we can stay on top of progress easily!
We're looking for somebody who is ambitious and enthusiastic about the world of marketing, who really wants to have an impact and progress within their job role. So if this sounds like you, please do apply.
