Role description
We are currently recruiting for a Digital Trading Manager to be part of our Digital Trading Senior Leadership team and to own and drive the strategic relationship and governance of our e-trading platforms and software houses. If you have an e-trading background together with strong 3rd party relationship management experience and see yourself as a change expert, we’d love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive the strategic relationships with software houses, focusing on governance, managing performance and acting as the key point of contact for queries, issues and operational requirements
- Lead monthly Steering Meetings, raising issues and escalations as required
- Identify system improvements to streamline the broker journey and reduce barriers to trade
- Negotiation and management of contracts; including oversight of the e-trading maintenance and development budget
- Produce and analyse MI, alongside market feedback, to support pricing decisions
- Responsible for the Allianz extranet, QuoteSME and ensuring its digital capabilities continue to evolve to meet changing customer and business needs
- Act as point of contact for the annual Insurance Times e-trading survey, undertake analysis of results and create action plans to address areas for improvement
- Liaise with the offshore Automation team to develop automated solutions for manual processes
- Work closely with the Centre of Excellence (CoE) team and attend regular CoE meetings to develop Blue Prism processes for deployment
- Lead the offshore UFT development team to ensure business priorities are met with automated solutions
- Lead the BAU Change delivery team, acting as a point for escalation and sign-off and for projects requiring BAU support
- Remain abreast of current and emerging industry issues, undertake competitor activity monitoring and horizon scanning
- Team management – overall management of the Digital Trading team to include 3 direct reports
- Contribute to the wider leadership of the Digital Trading business area
About you
- People management experience
- Experience of Digital Trading, e-trade preferred
- Proficient governance abilities
- Excellent stakeholder/relationship management capability, particularly with 3rd parties
- Problem solving skills
- Strong change management skills
- Prior experience developing future strategies
- Knowledge of commercial e-trade markets
