Director of Resources (Section 151 Officer)

Reporting to the Chief Executive, as our Director of Resources, you will be responsible for providing commercial leadership and guidance regarding allocation of Resources, service delivery, financial management, risk management, change management and transformation. For this newly created role we are looking for someone who is forward thinking, innovative and politically astute, who will work closely with elected members and colleagues to enhance our financial, commercial and corporate capabilities.

As the Section 151 Officer, you will have considerable senior finance experience in a local government setting to continue to develop and implement our medium term financial strategy and organisational financial management culture.
