The role
Our client is looking for a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manager to use their creativity and autonomy to develop and embed Diversity, Equity & Inclusion plans and activities for their people (staff, volunteers, supporters) and customers, ensuring they meet their objective of being a diverse and inclusive organisation.
What you'll do
- Build, test & deliver continuous improvement across all DE&I initiatives.
- Drive a change mindset & build understanding of inclusive practices.
- Coach & develop our client’s passionate DE&I working group to drive necessary change.
- Ensure readiness & coordinate activities that support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
What you'll need
- In-depth working experience of diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
- Experience of engaging with & influencing to develop & implement DE&I actions.
- Good understanding of DE&I related legislation including the Equality Act 2010.
- Specialist knowledge in DE&I and ability to demonstrate change and impact.
- Experience of monitoring, reviewing & developing policies and working practices.
- A willingness to learn new skills (particularly agile working).
- A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position).
