As a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Manager, you will play a key role in implementing and steering our DE&I initiatives. Reporting directly to the DE&I Lead within the People and Organisational Development team, you will collaborate closely with various departments to achieve our DE&I objectives, ensuring projects are executed from end-to-end with high impact and alignment to our company’s values.
- Project Management: Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring effective time management, stakeholder communication and attention to detail
- Communication: Create and disseminate DE&I materials across various channels to raise awareness and engagement within the company
- Training and Development: Support the design and implementation of training measures and learning sessions aimed at promoting DE&I in the workplace
- Event Coordination: Organize workshops to refine DE&I strategy and strengthen inclusivity and regularly host events with speakers to boost awareness
- Data Analysis: Analyze DE&I data to develop data-driven strategies; update dashboards and presentations to illustrate the progress and impact of our initiatives
- De-biasing Internal Processes: Actively participate in the review and analysis of internal processes and practices to identify and mitigate biases
- Research: Continuously research DE&I topics and best practices to continually enhance our strategies
Your powerful skills
- Professional Experience: Ideally, you possess at least 3 years of professional experience in a role where you have had the opportunity to learn and apply some of the required skills in a corporate environment
- Interest in DE&I: A keen interest in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is essential
- Self-Organization and Efficiency: High degree of self-organization, structure, and efficiency with very good project management skills capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion
- Responsibility and Engagement: Strong sense of responsibility and ownership for your projects with high readiness to work, engagement, and reliability
- Effective Communication Skills: You have the ability to approach people easily, engage and motivate them for your projects; your communication & presentation skills enable you to articulate ideas, thus, ensuring effective collaboration
- Language Skills: Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Creativity and Innovation: Bring a spirit of innovation, especially in developing and implementing DE&I initiatives; your fresh ideas will help continuously improve our strategies
- Quick Learner: Ability to quickly and proactively learn new topics and tools on your own
- Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) with a willingness to continuously learn and master new tools
Advantagelous, but not a must
- Prior DE&I knowledge is preferable but not a must, as further qualification opportunities can be made accessible
- Knowledge of other tools as for example Menti, Mural and Power BI are a plus
- German is a plus but not mandatory
