The Company
A well established, global outsourcing partner to many of the world’s most well-known and loved brands, sourcing predominantly recyclable paper-based packaging products. They are currently a small team with ambitious growth plans for the next 3-5 years, this role will focus on building up a new e-commerce brand.
The Role - E-commerce and Digital Marketing Manager
Reporting to the Marketing Director, and based in their Basingstoke office, you will have hands-on overall responsibility for the build, design and all on-line marketing to draw business to the new on-line store. You will build the Shopify store and manage the day-to-day running including SEO, PPC and email marketing, with agency support as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial marketer, with ecommerce and Digital Marketing experience.
Day to day, you could be…
- Building and implementing the new Shopify store
- Liasing with external agencies for content creation etc to maximise sales.
- Listing and promoting new products and delivering online marketing campaigns
- Measuring the performance of marketing efforts and the ecommerce site analysing performance and creating regular reports for management
- Market the ecommerce site via SEO, PPC, email marketing and social media campaigns
- Keeping up to date with the latest digital trends and getting involved to maximise brand awareness and ROI.
- Drive traffic to the website and improve conversion rates and increase basket values
To be successful you will have…
- At least 3-4 years’ experience managing e-commerce platforms, ideally within Shopify
- Good knowledge of wider digital such as SEO, Social, PPC and email marketing
- An entrepreneurial mind-set!!!
Location: Basingstoke (hybrid after induction)
This position can be 40% hybrid after you’ve settled in. Due to the location of the offices, the role is suitable for those commuting from Reading, Guildford, Andover, Winchester, Slough and Bracknell.
