We are currently recruiting for two Team Managers to join our Early Help team within the Disabled Children and Young Person’s Service. These posts are part of an exciting transformation expansion within the Service.

About the team
The team is part of Gloucestershire County Council’s Early Help service who offer support, advice and guidance to disabled children and their families. The team are integral in supporting children and their families to access the right support, they work multi agency with other professionals to ensure the children are achieving the best possible outcomes. The team supports the social work side of the service with children who have complex needs arising from their learning disability. The team completes assessments for families in their own right and find the relevant support service to meet the needs of the child and their family.
About you
As well as your experience as a family support worker and manager, there are some things we require of you to be successfully appointed to this post:
- experience of working with children and their families
- experience of working with disabled children or children who have complex needs
- ability to work with multi agency professionals
- have experience of offering supervision, mentoring and be confident in making key decisions
- ability to work under pressure and to timescales to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
- ability to think creatively and systemically in your work with families
- a full driving licence and willingness to drive
- DBS clearance
