We are excited to be recruiting a full time Class Teacher to cover maternity at our wonderful school. This vacancy is initially for year R but may change in September to Key Stage 1. We would like to attract a candidate who has experience and is passionate about these early years in a child’s life.
Chandler’s Ford Infant School is a warm, friendly 2-form entry school situated in the heart of the community. Our children are happy and enthusiastic and our experienced staff work closely together, enjoying a positive and supportive atmosphere.

The successful candidate will be warm, caring and committed to helping children achieve independence, confidence and kindness. They will be a person who wants the best outcome for every child and works to find ways to enable them to achieve this.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is flexible, energetic and puts children at the heart of everything they do
- Has experience and passion for Early Years or Key Stage 1
- Is warm and caring with a calm, positive approach
- Demonstrates a commitment to enabling all children to do their best
- Works well in a team but also uses initiative to contribute to the life of the school
- Is resilient, with good interpersonal skills and can demonstrate good time management
