Are you looking to make your next step into leadership? Do you have a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs? Come and make a difference by joining our vibrant, positive school community where everyone belongs and is empowered to do their best. We are proud of our inclusive ethos and ability to meet pupil needs educationally and pastorally.

We can offer an exciting opportunity to join our school as SENCo, working with our experienced team to deliver our school ethos ‘Nurture, Inspire, Challenge’ which underpins everything we do. We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing teacher to join an experienced and passionate team as a Class Teacher with responsibility for SEND. We have experienced LSAs and a team that are keen to provide the best experience possible for children. Our children are keen to learn and we are fortunate to be able to offer the successful candidate spacious grounds, a short walk to the beach and lots of biscuits in the staffroom! This role will include overseeing transition for pupils with SEND and liaising with colleagues, parents and carers to secure the best outcomes for our pupils.

We wish to appoint someone who:

  • is a responsive and reflective teacher
  • is passionate about meeting the needs of every child
  • is able to share their experience of providing high quality SEN support which leads to children making good progress
  • can manage their time effectively and communicates well with their colleagues, parents and carers
  • embodies our values of ‘Nurture, Inspire, Challenge’

We can offer:

  • commitment to your wellbeing and work-life balance
  • fabulous children who are polite, enthusiastic and keen to learn
  • a supportive and welcoming staff team
  • excellent professional development
  • a stimulating environment both inside and out
  • dedicated release time
  • a welcoming school community
