The Job:
Situated within the Planning and Account Management team, you would oversee various Ecommerce channels such as Amazon, D2C, Marketplaces, and Social Commerce. You will serve as the primary client liaison for our Amazon and Connected Commerce clients. Your responsibilities will include orchestrating the strategy and planning in collaboration with the Business Director, nurturing client relationships, and overseeing team management and mentorship. Your primary objective will be to ensure the success of your clients by overseeing the day-to-day management of their accounts across Amazon, D2C, marketplaces, and Social Commerce. This entails providing strategic guidance to both direct and cross-functional teams, delivering sustainable growth strategies, and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Lead, inspire, and guide your team to drive growth for your assigned clients.
- Act as the senior client liaison, overseeing day-to-day client management and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Comprehend the client's business needs and propose intelligent solutions that align with their short and long-term objectives.
- Take charge of end-to-end campaign planning and strategy, including ad hoc briefs and annual planning, ensuring adherence to planning principles, challenging briefs, and setting clear KPIs and objectives.
- Identify and define target and activation audiences using relevant Ecommerce and broader media tools.
- Assist the Business Director in crafting Business Plans for your clients, outlining key timelines and expected business outcomes.
- Develop and manage client Road Maps, collaborating with the Ecommerce Manager to establish Testing trackers to measure and report on testing success.
- Supervise the implementation of activities by channel specialists (paid and organic), ensuring adherence to best practices and ongoing development of channels for the client's advantage.
- Provide support to junior team members in reviewing regular reports and lead senior meetings such as QBRs/PCAs.
You:
- Demonstrated effectiveness in thriving within a dynamic, entrepreneurial startup environment where cross-functional collaboration and proactive initiative are paramount.
- Extensive operational expertise in Amazon retail and paid advertising, with a working understanding of D2C, Marketplaces, and Social Commerce.
- Robust organisational and project management skills.
- Outstanding communication, listening, and presentation abilities.
- Consistently provides constructive feedback to team members and reports, recognising and accommodating individual needs.
- Background in people management, including crafting objectives, conducting reviews, and facilitating 1-2-1s for direct reports.
- Extensive experience in client-facing roles, with a knack for cultivating relationships with external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical prowess, capable of translating insights into actionable commercial strategies.
