Electrician

Location: HMP Parkhurst (IOW), Clissold Rd, Newport PO30 5NX
Salary: £36,595.10 per annum
Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday, permanent.
We are seeking a dedicated Electrician to join our team at a HMP Parkhurst (IOW), a Category B Adult Male prison.

We are Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for an Electrician with:
- C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent qualifications
- A certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations, 18th Edition
- A minimum of two years experience working in a role as an electrician, preferably within a healthcare, military or commercial environment
- An honest and conscientious character, with an ability to approach challenges in a calm manner and a positive attitude
- Availability to work 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
