Join our global insurance client as an Employee Relations Partner on a fixed-term contract until November 2024. This is a small and collaborative team where you will be able to manage your own workload covering, sickness, absences, and more complex cases. The purpose of this role is to act as a trusted partner to the business and HR on a range of Employee Relations cases, providing advice and guidance in line with employment law. This would be an excellent role for an experienced HR Advisor looking to specialise in the Employee Relations space, or an ER specialist looking for the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of Employee Relations issues, offering advice and coaching to managers and HR teams, to ensure resolution in alignment with internal policies and regulations, escalating as necessary.
- Proactively partner with the business to advise on cases.
- Generate accurate MI using designated systems for internal and external reporting needs on people data.
- Maintain ER templates, process maps, and guidance materials for stakeholders, ensuring alignment with current policies and regulations.
Key Skills:
- Strong Employee Relations experience in an HR Advisory or ER specialist role
- Strong knowledge of employment law
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively communicating to minimise business risk.
- Ability to autonomously manage ER cases, liaising effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Well-organized with a keen attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
